A majority of micro-business owners (57 percent) initially funded their businesses using personal savings, and many (40 percent) continue to use personal savings for ongoing financing, according to a recent poll conducted by the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE). Other interesting survey results include: ~ Nearly 12 percent of the micro business owners started their businesses utilizing credit cards, while only two percent had government funds or loans.
